In late December 2025, X users warned that scammers were luring Axiom traders with fake tools such as token checkers and getting them to drag a bookmark into the browser, which ran on the logged-in Axiom page and gave the scammer access to the victim's funds. An X trending summary headlined the scam as draining over $200,000, and one widely viewed warning post said a person the author knew had recently fallen for it and asked Axiom to patch it. No security firm, news outlet or Axiom statement confirming the amount was found. Axiom users should never run a bookmark someone gives them and should move funds if they did.

## Am I affected?
You may be affected if you dragged a bookmark or 'tool' (token checker, PnL tracker, bundle checker and similar) into your bookmarks bar because someone in a chat, group or DM told you to, and then clicked it while logged in to Axiom.

## What to do now
- Delete any bookmark you did not create yourself.
- Move your funds out of the Axiom wallet to a fresh wallet you control.
- Log out of all sessions, re-check your login and security settings from a trusted device, and contact Axiom support only through its official site.

## How to avoid this
- Never drag or click a bookmark that someone sends you. A normal bookmark is just a link; one that runs code can act as you on the site.
- Real tools and real verification never need a bookmark to run on a trading site.
- Keep only trading money in a terminal wallet and move profits out often.
